At the core of Tilt the Odds is a flexible, user-friendly system designed to support a variety of betting strategies, and Profiles are central to that.
Whether you prefer a manual control, automated efficiency, or a hybrid of both, profiles give you the structure to stay consistent and the flexibility to adapt.
In this post, we’ll break down how profiles work, their hybrid nature, how betting orders fit in, and how you can set yours up to best match your style.

What are Profiles?
Profiles allow you to control how Tilt the Odds searches for bets, including which bookmakers and bet types are included, how many combinations are searched, and whether the search follows a specific priority order or stays random.
- You are able to add in the number of bookmakers and bet types that you wish to search.
- On the base package, 5 bookmakers and bet types (combined - eg. Williamhill Lucky 15) are searched randomly per run in the bet selector.
It’s important to note:
If you select 5 bookmakers and each one has 5 bet types, that’s 25 combinations in total — but only 5 will be searched on the Base plan and 10 on the Advanced plan. If you’re using priority search on the Advanced plan, only the first 10 combinations in your defined order will ever be searched. The rest will be skipped during that run.
So it’s important to be intentional about which combinations you include — or use priority search (available on the Advanced plan) to make sure your most important ones are searched first.
- On the Advanced package, you now get 10 searches of bookmaker/bet type combined and have the choice to prioritise which bookie is searched first, or you can choose to let it be random as it was in the base package.
- On advanced priority search, your top bookmaker is searched first, then the bet types for that bookie are searched in priority order. So you can search patents first at WH, then L15s for example, followed by L15s at betvictor then patents at betvictor. You’re allowed to choose up to 10 of these now.
For those who like the old “toggle” profile page, that functionality returns, you can have the bookmakers all show on a single profile, but de-select all of the bet types so they don't count towards your searches. If you prefer to go into the profiles and quickly add/remove rather than run multiple profiles this is a good method for you.

The hybrid nature of Profiles
The hybrid nature of profiles refers to the two search modes supported by the platform:
1. Randomised Search (Basic Plan)
- Bookies and bet types are searched in a random order
- Gives a mix of options but less control

2. Ordered Search (Advanced Plan)
- You can now assign numerical priorities to bookies and bet type using the toggles
- The system will follow that order in your searches
- Ideal for targeting your strongest accounts or preferred formats

Search order (only for Advanced plan users)
- Bookie prioritisation (1 to 5) - i.e. you can now assign a search priority number to each bookie and bet type in your profiles
- Searches will run in the exact order of your chosen priority
* Advanced users benefit from 10 searches per run, respecting this order exactly.

Tips for Profile Setup
- Create profiles by bet type, risk tolerance, or bookmaker availability
- Use profile copying to test variations
