The answer to this is that it is ALWAYS bad value to cash out a bet - the bookies wouldn't offer a cash out amount if it was good value!

They are just trying to tempt you - our advice would be never to cash out a bet unless:

• either it is a life changing amount of money or
• you are concerned that the bookmaker may not pay out should your remaining horse win.

The answer to this is that, in the long run, laying off your bets at an exchange will be bad value. Here at Tilt the Odds, we have a huge amount of data which tells us that.

This is a situation where the bookmaker has made an obvious error - e.g. they have the odds of a football match the wrong way round and are offering 9/1 for Manchester City to beat Doncaster Rovers. In most areas of life, if you make a mistake, you will probably pay for it in one way or another. Not bookmakers. If they make a palpable error, they will probably just cancel your bet.

At Tilt The Odds, we monitor for likely palpable errors and will not include them in our bet suggestions.

A related contingency is where one or more selections in a multiple bet directly affects or is related to other selections in the bet.

One example of this is a bet that it will snow on Christmas Day in Leeds. Bradford, Sheffield and Doncaster. You can't put these into a fourfold accumulator because, if it snows in Leeds, it is more likely that it will snowing in Bradford. (although there have been some infamous cases where bookmakers have taken these bets and then refused to pay out).

At Tilt The Odds, you don't need to worry about related contingencies, none of our suggested bets will ever include them.

Variance is the natural ups and downs in betting. Everyone wins and loses, but the key is to stick to your strategy and not let losses affect your mood or betting decisions.

Going sideways is normal and happens even with a strong system. Long runs of little or no profit are punctuated with big wins. If you're unsure, we're happy to review your strategy and suggest improvements, but often it's just poor short-term variance.

Log in and go to your Settings page. Click \u201cEdit subscription\u201d, this will take you to your Stripe customer portal.

You'll need to log in using the email address linked to your Stripe account.

Once logged in:

1. Click \u201cSelect a payment method\u201d
2. Add your new payment details
3. Click \u201cUpdate\u201d to save the changes

Stripe will retry your payment automatically for a few days. If it continues to fail, your account may be paused. Reach out to us if you need help.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

You can cancel your subscription by following these steps:

1. Once logged in, click on the \u2699\ufe0f button to access Settings.

2. Scroll down and find the 'Edit Subscription' option.

3. Clicking this will redirect you to Stripe. Log in using your email address used for your Stripe payment.

4. Check your email for a login link to access your customer portal.

5. Once in the portal, you can view your current plan, update your information, or cancel your plan.

6. After cancelling, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

No, we do not offer refunds for unused time within the billing period. However, you will continue to have access to your subscription features until the end of the current billing cycle.

Yes! We welcome feedback and suggestions from our users. You can share your ideas in our dedicated Discord channel or directly with our support team.

Absolutely! TTO is designed to be affordable for everyone. You can start with low stakes (i.e., 20p) and gradually increase your betting as you gain confidence and experience.

To avoid getting your account restricted or banned, try to mix up your bets, avoid betting huge amounts on a single event, and don't place too many bets in one day. Bookmakers might limit your account if they think you're betting in a way that could hurt their profits.

If you're sharing screenshots in Discord and want to hide bookmaker names, you don't need to manually cross them out. Just click the settings cog icon (top-right of the bet page, next to the search bar) and toggle off "Show bookie names". This setting will hide the names and save you time when sharing your results.

This can happen if your device restricts background activity, especially on Android.

If you're switching between the Tilt the Odds website and another app (or the mobile web app), your phone may still be trying to fetch data in the background. On some devices, especially with battery saving mode enabled, Android can block or suspend these background connections, which can lead to the "Application Error" message.

- What to try:

\u2705 Turn off battery saving mode while using Tilt the Odds.

\u2705 Allow background activity for your browser or web app in your device's settings.

\u2705 If you use a shortcut saved to your home screen, consider using the browser directly to test if that helps.

\ud83d\udca1 Some users have reported that disabling battery saver while placing bets helped fix the issue.

For iPhone:

1. Launch the Safari browser on your iPhone.
2. Go to the TiltTheOdds home page.
3. Logout (if logged in): If you're currently logged in, logout first.
4. Add to Home Screen: Tap the "Share" button (the square with an arrow pointing up). Scroll down and select "Add to Home Screen."
5. You can rename the shortcut if you like, then tap "Add."
6. Login from New Tile: Once the icon is on your home screen, tap it to open TiltTheOdds and log in again. The site will default to opening the home page each time and redirect you to today's bets.

For Android:

1. Open the Chrome browser on your Android device.
2. Go to the TiltTheOdds home page.
3. Logout (if logged in): If you're currently logged in, logout first.
4. Add to Home Screen: Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the browser, then select "Add to Home screen."
5. Select "Install app"
